At Veterans Helping Veterans, LLC, we are truly hoping to create a "feel good" environment. For the veteran doing a good days work or having a new place to call home, to the contractors who are
employing great people, and contributing money for housing, to the homeowner, who is not only getting great work at a great price, but also supporting two great causes.
Per the advice of our legal team; Attorney Michael Burdo, our Certified Public Accountants, Venman and Company, and our insurance agent, Anthony Tavella of Tavella Insurance, Veterans Helping Veterans, LLC is a privately owned, operated, licensed and insured for profit business. We do not receive any government funding to operate.
Our hope is to run a business that will accomplish both goals of our mission - to get unemployed veterans working, and to assist homeless veterans with housing. By donating money, and getting more and more people involved.
We hope you support us with this life changing mission, that will potentially help many, many at need veterans.
We are proud members of the Connecticut Veterans Chamber of Commerce.
WORKING HARD FOR YOU
We are a group of concerned, patriotic people who started Veterans Helping Veterans, LLC; a privately funded and owned Home Improvement Contracting Company. Our mission is to assist unemployed veterans with work as well as contributing money to house homeless veterans, most of which do not qualify for government housing assistance..
Our Company, as well as every company we hire on your home project, commits to hiring a currently unemployed veteran, as well as making as donation to CT Heroes Project or Homes For the Brave.
These donations are used to help with the many costs involved with moving; security deposits, furniture, home goods, paper goods - just to name a few.
Please check our media page to find our feature on Channel 12 news when we completed our first two home projects - ALL work was completed by veterans, and the occupants are formally homeless veterans - one receiving an assistance voucher, and two without.

The transition between winter and spring is the time to get a jump on moisture damage and heat loss, make quick work of organizing storage areas and work in some garden prep before spring. Don’t let winter slip away without using the cold, wet weather to help you detect where your home is leaking water and heat, giving you a chance to seal it up tight and develop a wish list for energy-saving improvements for spring!
